    2 stars. They have some very good staff, and some not so very good staff. Recently my wife and I purchased a bedroom set for my son. We noticed after putting it together that the bedroom set seemed too large overall for a full size mattress. We called to ask about this. We spoke to a lady (won't name names), and she claims to be a Manger. She was very aprupt, and rude. Did not know how to make suggestions to solve the problem, and made us feel dumb. Also at one point said, " I've worked here for 7 years, I know I'm right". I started to get upset at her, and I asked to speak to somebody else. Rudely she told me to hang on and she got a very intelligent young lady, who after asking some intelligent questions solved our problem. The problem with this brick is that they have some very good staff, and some very poor staff. They need to wean out the bad ones. I've purchased 2 couches, some other furniture, and the bedroom set and I will go back to deal with the 2 stars (like this review) and avoid the people there that need to be avoided.

    Good Place to buy your over-all needs of House-hold furniture, one stop purchase. But be careful with delivery of items. Somebody need to be there at the time of delivery since they provide advance email notification and three hours of window. But its sucks, when due to The Brick Mistake if they have to provide replacement delivery where The Brick delivery do not adjust the time as per customer requirement. It's sad part of dealing with The Brick.

    Don't believe what the sales people tell you. While sales will tell you about how the delivery crew will do everything needed to take away the old appliance and setup the new one, not the case. If your old appliance is not disassembled by you and ready to truck right out the door, not only will they not do it for you (as sales said they would), their procedure is to just dump the new appliance whereever they can and make a run for it. This is the second problem with delivery that I've had with these guys in a row, not sure I'm going to try for 3.

    There is a lot of excuses from the manager and lazy solutions to the problems we experienced. Not once did the manager even speak with us. All responses to our concerns were relayed to us by other employees.

    We purchased a bed frame and mattress from the brick and we can say with confidence we won't ever do that again.

    Moving on, we start on getting the drawer together but as we pull it out of the box there is a HUGE crack on the side of the drawer.

    A bunch of scammers selling junk. I don't know WHY I trusted the Brick again after the hell from the south calgary location by ikea. But I saw a bed frame I loved on black Friday deal flyers for a great price...so I caved. It was the nicest frame I've seen in my searches. We should have back out when the sales man tried to tell me that "this shouldn't be on sale...your getting a ridiculous price " But I carried on with the order. We also should have backed out when you wouldn't honor your black Friday free delivery posted on the website, even directly on the page the frame was on. But we carried on anyways. Not only did it break after 8 sleeps, but the metal leg in the middle support beam twisted and broke and gouged two HUGE holes in my brand new floor that was 8 days old and cost us nearly $3,000. You guys said "send us pics" so we did and we haven't heard a word back. I don't think you'll care anyways. I've already made sure to comment on any Facebook post in the airdrie groups to stay FAR AWAY from the brick since you guys scammed me money (deerfoot south ) lied to me, sold me junk and didn't care that your bed broke in 8 days. Seems the Brick scam is well known as I'm heavily supported from your fellow airdrians. I will continue to tell friends family coworkers and strangers to stay away!

    Keep in mind now, we live in a condo and do not own a truck to get these larger items home. So we paid for delivery and the removal of our old bed set.

    We received our items and as we are putting together the bed we are missing numerous washers and spring washers. We thought no big deal since we have others here at home. As we continue, they did not send the correct number of slats for the bed frame.

    She said the bed slats would be 1-2 weeks away. Not here yet. When I call them back again they say that they can't find them and could be another week. I asked them flat out if they even ordered them and the receptionist said 'yes, On the 17th'. Funny since we had our bed delivered on the 11th. So their solution to this problem is to give me a call back by the end of the day with an answer to the flats and if they can't get them they will remove the ones off the floor model. They never called.

    As a young couple building a new home, they made a huge mistake here. We really just wanted furniture that was assembled properly and with the correct amount of hardware. I think its appropriate to ask of new furniture we just purchased.

    If we could return the furniture we would. However the garentee only covers our mattress. The Sealy mattress is great tho but anybody could buy that anywhere else too.

    They tell me the drawer will not be replaced without enough damage to it and I need to email a picture first so they can authorize the replacement. Well the crack was bad enough they replaced it but the new drawer would be a week away from the warehouse in Calgary and I would have to pick it up. PAID FOR DELIVERY
